Chapel Brush Set

I don't know it is a XMAS gift for my son. I'll let you know after.

I have tried many "quiet" sticks and often end up using a combination of sticks - one that sounds best on the drums and another that sounds best on cymbals. The Chapel Brush Set gives me great sound on both drums and cymbals! Much better sound on a ride cymbal that a hot rod. And they size, grip and weight feel great!

I already have a pair of Innovative percussion BR-5's that I really enjoy using. The Chapel Brushes are not only longer (really like that) but seem to be a very high quality that is going to last a long time. I like the heft and feel of them and I'm sure they will only get better as I use them more. My only issue now is that I'm already playing on mesh heads on my acoustic kit for noise control and not only is it overkill, I'm a little concerned that the sharp nylon edges on the Chapel Brushes are not going to be good on the mesh. Thinking about what to do to dull it a little before they are good and broke in.

We have loved these so far! Just the right amount of attack without too much volume!
